ready to go!

sadie had a great first day of school and said "i want to go there everyday." she walked right in without any hesitation and i think she has a fun class this year and great teachers. her teacher took this picture and has started a blog about their class for the parents. so i just swiped the picture from the blog.
I guess it's going to start feeling like fall now that both girls have started school and our pool closed yesterday. Oh, but it's still NINETY DEGREES outside!!! Will I ever wear anything but a tank top again?
So after dropping Sadie off I went to a Starbucks to read a little while hudson was asleep. And why did I have to go to Starbucks instead of one of my favorite places to get coffee? B/c it was near Moe's and you know Camryn requested that taco for lunch. Unfortunately, Moes doesn't accomodate the kindergarten schedule by not opening until 11. Since I had to be at the school by 11:06 there was no time to wait, so Camryn had to settle for Subway. But she was happy to see me and cried when I left. I had fun meeting the girls she sits with at lunch. One little girl was really talkative and the first thing she said to me was.... "my mommy is a lawyer in raleigh". I told her I was relieved to know that in case Camryn needs any legal advice while in Kindergarten.
If you need any cute basic baby clothes for your own baby or for a gift i ordered some of these by Amercan Aparel which are made in the USA believe it or not. they come in nice colors and are on sale at Amazon.com
The long sleeve tee shirts are $5.99 and the short sleeve are $4.99 and maybe $3.99 for the hats. You can mix and match the colors. Can't remember how much the pants were. Anyways, they came in the mail today, so I was trying them on Hudson. He will grow into them soon!

hey amy,
sadie is only in 2 days of preschool, so not real school yet, just in case you were thinking that. five more years until they are all in school. will that feel like being an empty nester?
