A couple of months ago, my girls discovered the phenomenon of High School Musical......and Sadie especially loves to watch it and dance and sing the songs. She clears off the coffee table for a dance floor or "stage." I'll have to admit, that now that i've seen it more than a few times I know a lot of words to the songs and some of the dance moves myself. Singing and dancing around the living room with my kids is a good way to relieve some of the stress of being a mom.

Although, today I knew I had seen the movie one time too many when I got tears in my eyes as the cast of the movie were getting their diplomas. I guess if you watch a movie enough times you feel like you know the characters. But at least the girls don't just sit on the couch when they watch. They move around and dance and sing. If this was an audition for a part in the movie, I think Sadie would be more likely to get a part in The Karate Kid, don't you?
