oh happy day!

Easter day was very relaxing here. We were just here at home....the 5 of us. I didn't cook or anything. Although I did on Sat. night, but Easter day we just took it easy. The past few weekends we have been traveling or sick. So it was nice to just have a low key weekend at home with no plans. I didn't even try to get a picture of all the kids. Miles came home with the kids from church and I stayed to work in the nursery during the 2nd session, so by the time I came home, they weren't in their Easter clothes anymore anyways.....well, actually Camryn had her dress on, so i did get a picture of her and Hudson....Hudson....is ALL boy these days....he loves to run and play with balls. and he is trying to climb on anything he can.....

in fact, the only time he sits still is when he's strapped into his high chair or car seat, or occasionally when i turn on The Wiggles....he might sit like this for about 2 or 3 minutes.....

Camryn and Sadie are on Spring Break this week. I am loving that I don't have to make a lunch and get everyone into the car every morning. Here's a painting she made in art class at school that I framed today.

Here's Hudson making a mess of his chocolate bunny that the easter bunny brought him and he is trying to give me a piece of it.

Hudson is talking some now. He says mama, dada, uh oh, ball, thank you, this..... and maybe a couple more words I'm not thinking of. He also loves dogs but when he sees a dog or a baby he calls it a dada.

Another happy day was my birthday last week. Here's the strawberry ice cream cake that Miles brought home.

The girls picked out gifts for me by themselves. Sadie chose purple earrings and a purple bracelet. Purple is HER favorite color. Camryn chose green sparkly nail polish b/c green is MY favorite color. I wore them both when we went out to dinner the next night with our staff team to celebrate the 4 April birthdays on the team.
