whoa...it's raining

Today it rained for a few minutes and i caught Hudson just after it started, walking out into it. The deck door was open b/c he and Sadie had been playing out there and he had just walked out. The rain surprised him and he says "whoa...whoa" which is what he says when he steps down off a step or almost falls. And then i try to get him to say "wa wa" b/c he says that a lot when outside playing in his little pool.

Also I'm showing you this video so you can see where he fell got a cut above his eye on monday. He was playing on the deck with water like he has been everyday lately and he tripped and fell onto a pitcher of water. It was a silver one and I guess he fell right onto the spout part of it. I threw it away b/c I knew every time I used it after that it would remind me of his accident and i would feel guilty. Just like every time I see a glass table it reminds me of when Camryn was 3 and she fell and hit her forehead on a glass coffee table and had to get 6 stitches.

Anyways....Hudson only cried for a minute after he fell, but it was bleeding a good bit so I called the Dr. and went in and they put some glue on it. I was in there getting it glued less than an hour after it happened. I was thankful for the Dr. and the nurse who is always there, b/c they really know Hudson now and they have seen him several times since he was born. The nurse was basically waiting on me to walk in and they saw Hudson right away.

Tonight I'm having a quiet evening inside by myself (as opposed to outside) b/c Miles and the girls are in the backyard in a tent. They are really enjoying the great outdoors and the peace and quiet of their surroundings....well, actually they are just watching a Hannah Montana video and eating popcorn. But I know they are having a great time and making memories and Sadie is probably saying lots of silly things and making them laugh like she does so well at bed time.
