I would pay for a little orphan boy in China who needs a bone marrow transplant to save his life. My friend Gina is caring for him and held him while he had a blood transfusion today. I don't know how his mom decided to abandon him. I know that in China since you are only allowed one child, often sick or disabled children get abandoned by their parents, so they can try for another one that is healthy. But I still can't relate to a mom who wouldn't want to care for her child even if he is sick and dying. Especially since she had him for the first year of his life....that's a whole year of becoming attached to your child and then giving him away. That's hard to understand, but a lot of things about the Chinese culture are difficult to understand. This little boy needs a miracle.
