Kindergarten rocks!

The look on her face says it all......Kindergarten, here I come!Sadie has been excited for Kindergarten for a loooong time. She woke up today and was excited to get dressed. She knew exactly what she was going to wear, which was NOT one her new outfits we bought for "back to school" but rather a dress that's about 2 years old and 2 sizes too small and requires leggings or it would be too short. Oh well, I'll take that over indecisiveness any day.
She started to cry when I left her this morning, but held back and stopped the tears. When I picked her up she told me a lot about her day. She made a friend and maybe wants to try eating the school lunch tomorrow on pizza day.
I shed a few tears before I even left the building, just as I did when I dropped off Camryn for kindergarten.
Sadie said she thinks some of the boys in her class are wild and will start getting in trouble by tomorrow. At least she didn't lock anyone she didn't like in the bathroom, like someone else did on their first day of Kindergarten. When the teacher asked them to tell something about themselves at circle time, she told about a caterpillar she caught yesterday. And she told me that one boy only speaks Spanish and that another boy in the class had to translate everything for him.
She came home exhausted and went to bed early. No crazy story to tell, just a great first day.
