Happy Easter

It's been kinda like summer around here lately with it 80 degrees. We have been outside a lot. We have to take advantage of our short spring b/c soon it will be too hot. Yesterday we had an egg hunt with some good friends at a park. Here's the group picture of the kids. Hudson is busy chewing a starburst.

Last week we made some Easter cookies with sprinkles.....

And this morning the Easter bunny came and brought chocolate bunnies (the smallest ones ever)

Here's Hudson after he came downstairs. He's a late sleeper lately .....thank goodness, so he was the last one down. Camryn is helping him check out his basket which had a chocolate bunny and a book.

This is what Sadie said a few minutes after finding her basket......"Mommy, I was thinking that the Easter Bunny probably just lives in a regular house since he's really just a man in a bunny costume. And, I bet he has a really big Easter Basket full of chocolate bunnies for all the kids"

So, I guess Sadie thinks a man in a bunny costume just came into our house last night and left stuff in the baskets. She came in bed with me in the middle of the night.....just like she did on Christmas Eve.

Hudson likes to help Miles do whatever he's doing. Here he is washing the car with him....

Also, Hudson likes to use the word "actually" this week. This afternoon Camryn asked him if he wanted a bite of her chocolate and he said no, then a few seconds later he said "actually, yeah"
