I got sucked into Facebook this past weekend and it has (hopefully) temporarily taken over my life. I just realized that when I looked over and saw Camryn helping herself to a Pop Tart and Coke and it's dinner time, but where is dinner?
Well, having an oven that doesn't work right now is the other excuse for not cooking dinner. We had the GE guy come look at it and then we ordered the part he said it needed but that didn't help. So, we are going on almost 2 weeks of this. When we want to use it Miles has to go flip a breaker somewhere outside. But he's not here to do that, otherwise I would at least make something better than a Pop Tart. That's sad.
So, the newness of FB should wear off soon. But i'm starting to forget how to cook.
Anybody have any new easy recipes?

If you have a crockpot, put in a can of black beans, can of corn or some frozen corn, jar of salsa (use just 1 cup first) and then some chicken breasts and then the rest of the salsa. Cook on low for around 6 hours and then the last half hour stir in a block of cream cheese. We eat it with tortilla chips.
OO I'm trying Merry Bee's recipe.
I had oven issues 4 years ago. Repair guy came 3 times. THEN I just replaced the oven after it died again Thanksgiving day. It kept not working and Sears guys were my new BFF's. Finally, I called an electrician. He replaced my completely burned out receptacle. So thankful my house didn't catch on fire. So, that was my issue.
Facebook. It takes over your life for about 2 weeks and then it becomes a once-a-day habit. I promise!
I got sucked into FB about two months ago...and I'm still addicted. Luke says, "Is that your facebook, Mom?" as he wanders aimlessly past the computer where I'm wasting all my time...which is how I found your blog...I love facebook! :)
