My Life

So far life as a mom of 3 kids hasn't been too hard. For us the transition to 2 kids was realy hard, so compared to that, it just couldn't be any harder. For example, just since I started writing this I've already been interrupted and had to get up to settle an argument between the girls over a baby doll.....okay i just had to get up again and go upstairs to get another baby. So it's a liitle tricky to find time to do things like write on my blog or write one of the many thank you notes i need to write. We were overwhelmed by the many people who brought us dinner and made our life easier the last 7 weeks. Especially the girls on our staff team who not only cooked for us but have come over just to play with the girls so I could take a nap or get a break. If you are one of those people.....Thank You! It means a lot.

Hudson is a pretty easy baby so far. He smiles a lot and often sits happily in his swing or bouncy seat and drifts off to sleep. He also likes to be on his tummy and Camryn saw him roll over yesterday from his tummy to his back. I am loving having a baby boy more than i thought i would. He's so sweet. He's got a soft fuzzy spot right above his forehead where his hair is growing back in that I kiss about 300 times a day.

The challenging part of having 3 kids is going places. I will have to be more homebound for now. It's a lot of work helping 3 get in and out of the car, in and out of a store and it just takes forever b/c one of the girls inevitably needs to go potty anytime they go somewhere. Oh, and diaper changes. At least I only have one in diapers.

Sadie continues to struggle sharing me with Hudson. I think she's trying to get back at me for having a new baby by having "potty" accidents for me to clean up. She is warming up to him lately though. She looks over at him a few times a day and says "well hey Hud"......and she likes to hold him more, but still only for a few seconds.
Anyways, i've been only putting pictures on the blog lately, so i thought i'd write a few thoughts. I'll try to write more later!
