Cake boss

Six years ago today, God blessed me with one of the biggest challenges of my life.  A beautiful baby girl.  She came with a sweet but strong and loud personality.  She's fun and creative and makes us all laugh so much.  We can't imagine life without her.  Sadie has added so much joy and adventure to our family.  I love her way more than I can express in words.....
But let's face it....she can be quite bossy.  Everybody that knows her well.....knows that to be true.  Her preschool teacher last year told me she was the leader on the playground.  But that's just a nice way of calling her the "playground boss" right?   Whatever you want to call it....she makes our lives fun and full and I am so proud of who she is.
She had big dreams for her party this year.  The theme was cake/cupcake decorating.  She wanted it small with only a few friends, but she wanted the cake to big.  Like "cake boss" big.  She loves to watch that show and wanted her cake about the size of a wedding cake.  I explained to her that I didn't have the tools or experience to make a cake like that, so instead she helped me make this cake.  She designed it herself and did a lot of the decorating.
But first she wanted each girl to get to decorate her own apron so they could wear it for cupcake decorating.
But puffy fabric paint takes 4 hrs. to dry, so they didn't get to wear them.....however, they had fun playing with fondant and decorating their own cupcakes to take home.

And lastly.....she wanted a puppy.  A white one. So, we got her the one she wanted.

But it's not real.  It only acts real.  It walks and barks.

She was a happy girl this weekend....
Life just wouldn't be the same without my Sadie.  I'm thankful for 6 amazing years as her mom!
