weekend update

This little guy here is about to be 2 years old in a couple of days..... This is how he looks when he says "cheeeeeeeeese" for the camera.....

Here he is trying to blow out the candles. We celebrated with Miles' parents last weekend.

And trying out his new tricycle.....

And playing in the snow with Gramma while it lasted.....in pink cowgirl boots because his yellow rain boots took a trip to Myrtle Beach, SC with Miles, Camryn and Sadie.....

And why did his boots take a trip? Last Saturday Miles was planning to run his 3rd marathon in a year in Myrtle Beach, but it was cancelled b/c of the snow. We knew it was going to snow there so I had pack all of the kids' snow gear, planning to watch the race with snow on the ground.

The plan was for miles, camryn and sadie to head down on friday afternoon, which they did.....and then i would stay home with Hudson and pick up miles' parents at the airport later that night and then we would go straight there from the airport......but their flight was delayed until 10 pm.......snow was coming down and the city officials of Myrtle Beach decided to cancel the race at about 10:30 friday night. So, we got to go home and get a good nights sleep and wake up to snow here rather than drive all night to the race.

But too bad for Miles, who now has to continue training until another race later in March.....
